First Meeting
Our story began at STI College Meycauayan, where we met as classmates. We became especially close in the Computer Laboratory since we were both student assistants at that time, and it was there that our friendship truly started. There were even moments when we would have lunch together, just the two of us, sharing simple conversations and getting to know each other more. What started as casual conversations inside the classroom and the lab slowly grew into a wonderful friendship. At the time, we never imagined that our paths would eventually lead us to forever.
The day friendship became love.
Friendship
As the years went by, our friendship naturally grew closer, and eventually, we became more than just friends. After graduation, however, life took us in different directions, and we lost contact. Even so, Benj never forgot Lala's birthday, faithfully sending her greetings every year—a simple gesture that quietly kept the connection alive.
One simple birthday greeting changed everything
Falling in Love
After more than a year without talking, Benj greeted Lala again in December 2021. That one message reopened a door that neither of us expected. Conversations became more frequent, laughter returned, and feelings slowly grew. Benj patiently pursued Lala, believing that the right love is always worth waiting for. In God's perfect time, she finally said "yes," and our love story truly began.
The same place where she became my girlfriend... became the place where she became my fiancée.
Engagement
Benj had originally planned to ask the big question during our trip to Bicol, but that plan didn't happen. Instead, he decided to make Lala's birthday even more unforgettable. Quietly, he asked for the blessing of her mom, then her dad, while a few family members and church friends helped keep everything a surprise. On the very place where Lala had once said "yes" to becoming his girlfriend, Benj asked her if she would spend the rest of her life with him. With joyful tears, heartfelt smiles, and God's perfect timing, she said "yes" once again.

Choosing Forever
Looking back, we can clearly see God's faithfulness in every chapter of our story. From classmates to best friends, from years apart to finding each other again, every moment was preparing us for this beautiful season. Now, as we look forward to our wedding day, we are excited to begin our greatest adventure yet—building a lifetime of love, faith, and choosing each other every single day.
